How to Create & Share the (Ridiculous) 5120x1080 Instagram Trending Post

Have you noticed those skinny little landscape posts floating around Instagram lately? They look like slivers on the feed. You almost have to pinch and zoom to see what’s inside. For some reason, they’re everywhere right now.

I wanted to know how people were making them. So I dug in, figured it out, and posted one myself. Strangely enough, those tiny specs on my screen pulled in a surprising number of views.

If you’ve been curious how it works, here’s a simple tutorial. I’ll show you how to set up the 5120 × 1080 aspect ratio in DaVinci Resolve, export it properly, and upload to Instagram so it appears exactly like the screenshot below.
