WHITE SPACE

STUDIO

Your photos and ideas, off the screen and into your hands.
Thoughtfully focused creative tools for turning your own photographs and words into frames, proofs, postcards, notes, and little books.

Plus the Monthly Edition 1

You already have the content.

The photographs are on your phone, your camera, your hard drive.

The words are in notebooks, half-finished drafts, and little notes you meant to return to.

How do you choose what belongs together? How do you lay it out without spending hours learning design software?
How do you print the zine so the pages come out in the right order?

White Space Studio was made for this part.

It helps you gather what you already have, shape it, and finish something small enough to begin and meaningful enough to hold in your hands.

Creative direction, built in.

Most design platforms give you an enormous library and an open canvas.

White Space Studio gives you a beautifully edited worktable.

The typefaces already belong together. The layouts understand photographs. The paper sizes are real. White space is part of the composition. Every tool has one clear purpose and a thoughtful way through.

You can begin with a good starting point, then make it your own.

You choose the photographs, the words, the order, and how much room each piece needs.

The Studio takes care of the pixels, dimensions, page order, print resolution, and setup that so often stops the work before it begins.

Your eye stays in the work. My eye supports it.

Nine focused rooms.

An idea rarely arrives as a finished thing.

It begins as a line you want to remember. A gathering of images. A shoot you need to see as a whole. One photograph that asks for more room.

Each tool in White Space Studio has one job. Together, they follow the way creative work actually grows.

Library to turn your photos into collections you can access in all the tools

Edit to edit your beautiful photos

Social for designing beautiful carousels, stories and more

Proof helps you see the photographs.

Frame turns them into a composition.

Postcard gives the work somewhere to travel.

Zine brings it together as a little book.

Writer catches the thought.

Concept gathers the idea.

You can begin in any room. Finished work can move from one tool into another, so a photograph, a line, or a small idea can keep becoming.

Inside the Studio

  • LIBRAY

A home for your photographs inside the Studio.

Bring your photographs in once. Library keeps them so every tool can reach them without you hunting through folders for each tool.

Gather them into named collections. View any photograph large. Send a whole collection into Edit, or open a selection wherever you're working.

Your photographs stay on your own computer, in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

☐ gather photographs into named collections
    ☐ create, and reorder collections
    ☐ view any photograph large
☐ keep originals and their edited versions together
☐ back up your whole library to one file and open it again later

Then adjust. Familiar sliders, tone, white balance, texture, curves…

  • FRAME

A photographer’s layout and print studio.

Begin with one photograph or many. Choose a beautifully considered layout, adjust the white space, add words, and make it yours.

Frame gives you the ease of a ready-made composition with room to rearrange, refine, and save your own layouts as your confidence grows.

☐ layouts for single photographs, diptychs, triptychs, grids, film frames, calendars, and loose editorial compositions
☐ real print proportions and high-resolution output
☐ curated set of my Signature Presets
☐ curated font pairings for titles, captions, and notes
☐ a white space control for deciding how much room the photographs need

Make something beautiful quickly. Stay and explore when you want more.

  • POSTCARD

A small correspondence and memory-making studio.

Postcard understands that the back matters too.

Make a real postcard with a front, a back, a message, an address, and a stamp created from one of your own photographs. Choose how the back will be used: something to mail, a memory to keep, or an open place to write.

☐ design the front and back together
☐ choose Mail, Memory, or Write
☐ add your own message, date, address lines, and postal details
☐ turn one of your photographs into a stamp
☐ add postmarks, cancellation marks, and perforation details
☐ begin with a layout from Frame
☐ export both sides, ready to print at 300 dpi

Make one for the mail. Make one for someone you love. Make one simply to remember.

  • ZINE

A gentle bookmaking studio that knows how paper works.
Choose the paper you already have. Add your photographs and words. Move through the pages until the story feels right.
When it is time to print, Zine handles the part that makes small books feel mysterious: the page order. Your booklet is arranged so you can print it, fold it, and hold a finished book in your hands.

☐ make a Letter, A4, or Pocket Zine
☐ begin with your own photographs, a sample, or a small creative prompt
☐ choose from photo-led layouts, words-and-image pages, dividers, dedications, and open pages
☐ reorder, resize, and refine each page
☐ bring a composition in from Frame
☐ preview the work as a book
☐ export a correctly ordered, print-ready PDF or JPGs for manual feed.

Your first zine can begin with the printer on your desk.

  • PROOF

See the whole shoot on one sheet.

A camera roll shows you one image at a time. Proof gives you the wider view.

Gather a shoot, a month, or a project onto a single surface. Look for relationships. Notice what repeats. Print the sheet and mark it with a pen.

☐ create contact-style grids, film formats, real print sizes, or free arrangements
☐ use a set of different photographs or repeat one image
☐ add captions and cut guides
☐ move and compare photographs across the page
    ☐ export at 300 dpi
☐ print it and make your edit by hand

It brings the physical editing table back to digital photography.

  • CONCEPT

A clean visual table for the unfinished idea.

Bring photographs, words, colours, notes, and lists into one quiet space.

Concept gives an early idea enough structure to become visible, with room for the unexpected connections that happen while you are gathering.

☐ arrange images, words, notes, checklists, shapes, and colour palettes
☐ choose a paper, white, dot, or grid surface
☐ add a subtle grain when you want a more tactile feeling
☐ bring in work from Frame
☐ move thoughts between Concept and Writer
☐ let the idea find its shape before asking it to become a project

It holds the middle of the process, while the work is still finding its way.

  • WRITER

A quiet writing practice with a room for each kind of thought.

Writer begins with a plain page and gives your words somewhere to go.

Catch a passing thought. Reflect on a prompt. Keep a list. Gather material around a project. Shape a longer draft. Turn one good line into a designed card you can share or print.

Capture for the thought you do not want to lose
Reflect for prompts, dated entries, and a personal archive
Lists for simple lists and sections
Collected for gathering material around an idea
Drafts for longer writing and clean export
Noted for turning your own words into a visual, printable card
☐ move thoughts into Concept when they are ready to become visual

Your words remain the source. The page gives them room.

  • SOCIAL

    A carousel and post designer.

Social is where a set of photographs becomes something you can post. Design across one wide canvas, see where each swipe will fall, then export numbered slices ready to upload in order.

Or make a single post. A story. A Pinterest pin. A wide image for the web. Choose the format, add your photographs and words, and set the paper and grain.

☐ design an Instagram carousel that reads as one continuous image
☐ make single posts, stories, Pinterest pins, and web-sized images
☐ seamless or separate page layouts
☐ pull photographs from Library or add them from your computer
☐ move, scale, and layer photographs across the seams
☐ add headings and paragraphs with the Studio font pairings
☐ paper tones, grain, and ink colours
☐ swipe check to see how each panel will read
☐ save a design and open it again

WHITE SPACE STUDIO — The Monthly Edition

August, September, October

Three months. One photographic theme each month.

At the beginning of the month, I’ll give you a photo journal theme. A small prompt each week will keep the project moving.

At the end of the month, we’ll turn what you captured into something you can hold in your hands.

We might gather the idea in Concept, shape the words in Writer, see the photographs in Proof, then finish the piece in Frame, Postcard, or Zine.

You will end the month holding something you made.

Join White Space Studio during the launch and all three Monthly Editions are included.

WHITE SPACE STUDIO — The Monthly Edition
All six tools. Plus the Monthly Edition.

Bring your own photographs and words.

Give them space.

Make something you can hold…something that lives on.

All six tools, plus the Monthly Edition.

The tool carries the setup. You make the piece.

White Space Studio is built around a simple division. The Studio carries the technical knowledge:

☐ pixels and dimensions
☐ print resolution
☐ paper sizes and orientation
☐ booklet order
☐ margins and white space
☐ type relationships
☐ export formats

You make the choices that give the work meaning:

☐ which photograph matters
☐ what belongs together
☐ what the words should say
☐ how the story moves
☐ when the piece feels finished

That is what makes the tools simple to enter while the finished work still feels personal.
