pocket zine

Make a pocket zine with me.

A few photos from this week’s morning shoots. big prairie skies at sunrise, two sheets of (beautiful) paper.

The details:

  • Two 7 × 5 sheets of Red River Aurora 300

  • Printed on both sides (Epson 8550)

  • Scored, folded in half, bound with one staple

  • Designed in WSS ZINE

I never remember which side gets the bone folder, so I burnished both. The ‘rule’ … the scored side goes on the outside of the fold. And lay a scrap sheet over the fold before you burnish it. Bone folders can leave shiny streaks.

ZINE started with A question. What if making a zine, and printing it could be easy? It began with letter size. The pocket zine came later. (Just popped into my brain)

Funny, Zine was where White Space Studio all began. (so glad I didn’t know how much work was next). If you love paper and want to make your own, Zine lives inside White Space Studio app.

Sometimes simple is enough. ♡ what might you make today if simple could be enough? xx
