be an elegant thinker

The other day…as I was rummaging through my stamp collection a thought came in.

I wonder where that rotating word stamp went to?'

It was one of my Chapters finds while we were living in Winnipeg for John's cancer treatment.
Chapters and the most amazing paper store (that’s no longer in business) were such a lifeline during that time.

(if you’re interested you can still find the stamp on ebay).

Anyhow, it has a variety of phrases. But my absolute fav
be an elegant thinker.’

Don’t you love when a message finds you at just the right time?

Be an elegant thinker.
Isn’t that an absolutely magical mantra to try on?

I must admit, I haven’t been the best ‘elegant thinker’ of late.
But there’s nothing like a reset!!! Right?

So I’m writing it down, printing it out, posting it on stickies, tucking it in my journal, and practicing it lots on the page.

And speaking of on the page, I loved the idea of elegant thinking so much I designed this dashboard for the soon-to-launch collection of digital planner dashboards, inboxes, pages and journaling cards. (more on this soon).

(if you’re wondering what a dashboard is. They’re like an elevated divider, that are both decorative and functional. You can add multiple dashboards throughout your journal.)

Anyhow, maybe, just maybe, you needed a little thinking reset too?

Be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker…
Be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker…..
Be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker…..Be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker, be an elegant thinker…..

In Other News

I’ve fallen HARD for ring & discbound journalling. (hence the new journaling collection coming soon.)
It’s just so brilliant.

I design and print my pages on the perfect paper, trim them up, pop them in my journal.
Write away and easily tear a page out if I wanna begin again. Amazing.

Do tell in the comments below if you’re into ring or discbound journals too?

Oh and for my lovely iPad journalers, you can absolutely sprinkle dashboards throughout your digital pages as well.

Ever feel like Instagram is listening to your conversations? I sure do.
I open Instagram and up pops an AD for the very thing I’ve talked about on the phone with a friend or client.
(ie. specific lights, a tripod, a lens)
Turns out, there’s a privacy setting that allows this. And it’s all ‘cause I turned on the microphone for Instagram in my iPhone privacy settings.
Just a heads up.

two.
Have you seen the viral peanut butter cup rice cake recipe?
Oh my word.
It’s the peanut butter, chocolate lover’s dream.
And so simple.
Melt your chocolate of choice in the mic, spread some peanut butter on a rice cake, drizzle the melted chocolate on top, Sprinkle with sea salt. Put it in the freezer.
10 minutes later. You’re welcome!
